Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that Angel Gomes will leave the club this week.
when asked if Gomes would be leaving United, Solskjaer said: “To be honest, I have not heard from them last night or this morning.
“So it seems like they’ve not managed to agree, so the answer is probably short and ‘yes’ at the moment.
“I’ve got no news, so it doesn’t look like he will sign a new deal
Gomes is out of contract with the Red Devils and he has been reluctant to sign a contract extension with the Old Trafford team and Solskjaer said the lack of a breakthrough on a new deal means the promising 19-year-old is almost certain to leave.
